Our Knilles lodges are situated in a beautiful, peaceful location close to the park's playground. An excellent base for families: the children can play just a short walk away while you explore the best of Friesland at your own pace. The charming watersports village of Akkrum is approximately 750 metres away.

🛋️ Living room with open-plan kitchen

Step into a bright living room with an open-plan kitchen. The dining and seating area is a lovely place to enjoy meals together, play games or watch an exciting series with the whole family on the smart TV. Prefer some quiet time with a good book? Make yourself comfortable in the armchair. On sunny days, open the French doors to the covered terrace and enjoy spending time outdoors.

The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped with an induction hob, extractor hood, dishwasher, combination microwave oven, fridge with freezer compartment, filter coffee machine and kettle. Crockery and cookware are provided, so you can start cooking straight away. The lodge is entirely on one level.

💤🚿 Bedrooms and bathroom

The lodge has two bedrooms with single box-spring beds. Upon arrival, the beds are made up for the number of guests booked, so bed linen is included. The bathroom features a walk-in shower with a rain shower, a washbasin with mirror and a toilet.

🌳 Garden and playground

The Knilles lodges are quietly located towards the back of the park. You have your own garden with outdoor furniture and sun loungers, perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee outside or spending a long summer evening in the fresh air. With the playground nearby, this is a great place for a family holiday with children. Free parking is available in the central car park, approximately 50 metres from your accommodation.

🐕 Bringing your dog on holiday

Your dog is also welcome in this lodge (maximum 2 pets). The lodges are fully fenced, allowing your four-legged friend to explore safely. When you book with a dog, the following will be ready upon arrival:

• a clean dog bed upon arrival
• food and water bowls with a stand
• a welcome package with two dog treats and a tennis ball
• a welcome card with useful tips, rules and an app showing places to walk your dog

💡 Good to know

Free Wi-Fi is included in your stay. The accommodation is non-smoking. Pets are allowed in selected accommodations, which you can find by adding your pets to your travel party when searching.

Warm, welcoming and a paradise for watersports enthusiasts: this is how our guests describe their stay. Our holiday park is located on the outskirts of Akkrum, in the heart of the Frisian Lakes. With numerous walking, cycling, driving and boating routes, there is plenty to explore for all ages. Boat rentals and fishing opportunities are available nearby.

Our reception team will be happy to share tips for activities during your stay. We also offer a breakfast and bread roll service, allowing you to collect fresh bread rolls every day when ordered one day in advance. Want to make your stay even more comfortable? You can also choose a drinks and snacks box, a grocery package, tabletop grilling, a barbecue or private dining. Behind the reception building, you will find a laundry room with a washing machine and tumble dryer, available for an additional fee.

Visiting during the winter months, the quieter season or experiencing a typical Dutch rainy day? There is still plenty to do. Visit one of the charming towns or villages nearby, such as Sneek, Leeuwarden, Terherne, Joure and Grou.
