From the vacation park you can easily rent a sloop or motorboat to discover the beautiful surroundings of the Pikmeer and Sneekermeer lakes. Of course, you can also take to the water more sportily with a sailboat, a sup-board or a canoe. If you prefer to stay on dry land, you can explore the polders with a rental bike or sample the cozy atmosphere in villages such as Sneek, Grou and Joure. For those who enjoy hiking, nature reserves such as De Deelen and National Park de Alde Feanen are absolute must-sees.
