Simply go to Thialf

Will you be cheering on the national and international speed skating stars in Thialf? During the Dutch All-round & Sprint Championships and the World All-round & Sprint Championships in Heerenveen, your trip will be a lot easier thanks to a temporary adjustment in the train timetable.

The Heerenveen IJsstadion stop will be reinstated especially for these events. This means that the sprinters that normally run between Zwolle and Leeuwarden will make an extra stop right next to the skating rink.

📍 Your Route: from Akkrum to Thialf

From Akkrum hop on the Sprinter and get off directly at Heerenveen IJsstadion station. From here it is only a short walk to the entrance of Thialf.
