Do I need a boating license to rent a boat?

In most cases, you do not need a boating license for the motorboats and sloops that we rent out at the park. Of course, we will explain to you exactly how everything works before you leave so that you can go out on the water with confidence, even if you are less experienced.

Are the Frisian Lakes easily accessible from the park?

Absolutely! You see, we are located on the Meinesleat, which is theconnection between the Sneekermeer and the Pikmeer. All lakes are connected by a network of ditches and canals, making our park the perfect starting point for a varied boating vacation throughout Friesland.
